Wet Weather
We lease our fields from Marrickville Council who determine after 2pm if their fields are available for play that evening. They have information phone lines that you can ring around 3pm:

Note that if the fields are open then games are on - regardless of how bad the weather may look.
Steel Park
Location
Steel Park is the location of the Inner West League and it is situated at 623 Illawarra Rd. It is right on the banks of the Cooks River, so don't throw those frisbees too hard!
Transport
- Train - it is a 15 minute walk from Marrickville or Tempe Station. Marrickville is on the Bankstown Line while Tempe is on the Illawarra Line.
- Car - there are two car parks at the ground, one on Illawarra Rd, and the other on Thornley St
- Bike - if you live anywhere in the vicinity of the Cooks River, it is a flat ride along the Cooks River Bike Path to the fields. You will need to cross over the bridge at Illawarra Rd as the bike path is on the south side of the river while the fields are on the north side.
